Everyone on planet Earth has had their bike stolen at some point in their life.   This website is dedicated to cataloging each of those stories.



HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR STORY

We welcome submissions in really any form imaginable: video, animation, song, word document, picture, drawing, collage - you get the idea. All we ask is that your submission tell the story of an actual bike theft.

VIDEO GUIDELINES:

  • Videos must be no longer than 2 minutes in length.
  • Make sure to use only music that YOU OWN the license to, or that is ROYALTY FREE (any GarageBand loop will do) or in the PUBLIC DOMAIN.
  • Make sure to get all subjects depicted in your video to SIGN an ON CAMERA RELEASE.
  • UPLOAD your completed video to youtube.com
  • Then email info@someonestolemybike.com the youtube link along with a scanned PDF of all signed ON CAMERA RELEASES. And then you're done.

Someonestolemybike.com is a forum open to all. We are not here to judge or criticize, we just the hope that people will enjoy the stories and find a place to vent. By emailing us, you're granting a permanent, royalty-free license to edit and use your "Someone Stole My Bike" story in any way. All submissions will be credited to the sender, so please let us know if you'd prefer we credit otherwise.
